SIGNS OF THE TIMES
I remember an old film book I used to have called “Signs and Meaning in the Cinema.” The ‘signs’ weren't meant literally of course, but were metaphorical or emblematic of something deeper. But in these pics, they’re a bit of all of the above—sometimes slyly obscure, sometimes blindingly obvious, sometimes just funny. And sometimes they just tell you all you need to know.
